Students from Stratford St. Micheal Secondary School performed scenes from “The Tempest” during dinner. Special thanks to Treasures (151 Ontario Street in Stratford) and Chocolate Barr’s (136 Ontario in Stratford) for their generous donation of door prizes for the event, and to The Queen’s Inn for doing a superb job of accomodating us and preparing a wonderful meal.

The Tempest: An Island Affair was the theme for a recent scholarship fundraising dinner sponsored by the Canadian Federation of University Women-Stratford Club held at the Queen’s Inn. The menu featured items from Elizabethan times, including “Manchet & Buttur & Kickshaw”, “Roste Henny with Applys & Oynouns” and “Creme Tartys of Pinappel & Poding in Syrup” for dessert. Guests were entertained by students from St. Michael Catholic Secondary School under the direction of Tina Robinson. Photo of Ariel from The Tempest.
