Our November Montly meeting will be held this coming Tuesday, November 22nd at Central United Church. Ingrid deMartines will be our speaker discussing the topic of ‘Women in Farming’.
We are continuing with our “Food Donations” advocacy issue for our local schools. This month we will be helping C.O.P.E. Stratford who would be most appeciative of the following items: “Breakfast for Learning”cards from Zehrs so that the school can purchase items; BIODEGRADABLE plates, cups and cutlery (school only has 2 sinks rather than the 3 required by Health department if dishes are washed); vinegar for disinfecting; small cans of fruit (low sugar), individual cereal pacs (low sugar), granola bars, peanut butter, small juice boxes, dried soups (low sodium if possible), oranges, etc.
